Innermost

Plaster/Edition of 12

62cm x 13cm x 20cm

Innermost, explores body language as a silent expression, abstracting a posture often linked to shyness or low self-esteem. The sculpture captures the tension between vulnerability and self-awareness, emphasising how our physical form communicates unspoken emotions. Created in two versions - plaster with light and dark patination—it reflects the concept of the shadow self, symbolising the duality within us. The contrast between the two finishes invites introspection, highlighting the complexities of identity and self-perception. Innermost serves as a meditation on the ways we embody our inner worlds, revealing the depth of emotion through form and gesture.
