Jasmine Bradbury // British Sculptor and Artist

Jasmine Bradbury (b.1994) is a British sculptor based in London, originally from Norfolk. Her work explores organic shapes and forms, often beginning with the way light transforms and distorts them through shadow. These fleeting silhouettes become starting points for tactile, three-dimensional sculptures that sit between the recognisable and the unfamiliar. Working primarily in plaster, Jasmine carves and models her forms by hand before casting them in bronze, iron and resin. Her work explores shape, movement and balance, with an intuitive approach to transforming fleeting forms into something physical and lasting. Her practice is also informed by an interest in the relationship between interior and exterior states. Through ideas of containment, pressure, resistance and release, her sculptures consider what is held within and what becomes visible on the surface. Influenced in part by ideas surrounding the conscious and unconscious, the work explores tension between vulnerability and strength, exposure and concealment, control and surrender.

Jasmine graduated with First-Class Honours in Fine Art from Norwich University of the Arts in 2015. Her work is held in private and permanent collections, including the Linklater’s Permanent Art Collection, and at The Sculpture Park, Farnham. She is based at Cockpit Studios in London, having been awarded the Cockpit Arts Society Award in 2024.
